What do you guys think about this perfomance mod?

If that's the only exhaust mod you have, you wont notice much of a difference. However, if you already have all the other pieces replaced. Go for it.

A guy I know has that. He says that whenever he stops at a light, the smell is nauseating. You are taking away the piece of the car that processes the chemicals. It is illegal in almost all states I think, and you cant pass any kind of emmisions test with it on. But, if you want your car to go as fast as possible, then thats what you gotta do. However, I would recomend that you get intake, y-pipe, cat-back, in that order, before you get the straight pipe.

that was up for discussion a few months ago. the general consensus was that it didnt do anything except stink. But i say hollow out the cat instead, same thing and cheap, if you have to you can buy a cat and put it on for emissions.

isn't a cat more exp than that test pipe? so why not just buy the pipe take the original cat off, and when it comes to emission, then u take it off and put it back on? hehe....
