Brake fluid question...

Brake fluid question...

ive noticed that about every week and a half for the past month, i have to keep adding brake fluid...my brakes are about 1 month old so thats not the problem..
weight of the wheels?
or is it caused by something else

i think you might have a small leak.....in a line possibly. How else would it dissapear.?

i had the same problem when i first bought my car, turned out to be a leak. i got it fixed and now i carry a bottle of break fluid around incase it happens again. my guess is a leak too.

make sure your bleeders are tight....that could be it i guess...

its definitely a leak. you're going to have to find out where that leak is by inspecting everywhere while someone is pressing on the brakes itself. Hopefully it's a simple rubber line and not the metal ones. Might want to do it asap since you don't want to suddenly have the brakes give out in case that leak goes into a rupture.

I dont understand how it could possible have anything to do with your wheels, but only your brakes themselves. Ditto on checking the source of the leak. I had a similar problem.
