Replace Heater Hoses?

Still having original stock cooling hoses, I am planning to replace the radiator hoses in the upcoming cooling flush. How involved is to replace the heater hoses (two big ones from the firewall)? Do I need to remove anything in order to replace them. The hoses seem to be fine, but on the other hand, they are 13 years old (110K on the clock). I am leaning toward of replacing them if I can do it without removing other components... Advises appreciated.

They're not all too hard to get to. Have you not actually taken a look at it yet? That would give you an easy answer...

I did look at them, and it did not seem to hard to get to as you suggested. The part that I am not sure is that one of the hose (the bottom one) seems to wrap around and seated in two plastic clips holders. That is why I posted my question as I am not sure how involved to get the new hose through those holders, Or you actually had to take the holder off...

It just pops open like the wiring harness clips, hoses can be easily removed and replaced.

10 years, 160,000 and I don't plan on ever replacing them or any other hose unless they show signs of failure.

yep, if it aint broke, dont fix it. i replaced 2 fuel hoses on the front of the block cause they were leaking gas or i would've left them alone. and thats at 187,000.

Thanks guys for the advises. I will leave them alone for now, and will revisit this for my next coolant change...
