I bought a front strut tower bar from ebay for a 4th gen, and I received it in the mail today. I pulled it out of the package, and it had a sticker on it that said 89-94 maxima. So are they interchangeable?

That's a lot quicker and easier than asking here. Also, did you search? I believe this has been discussed before.

I know. I didn't get home until it was dark though, and its 10 degrees Fahrenheit in Pittsburgh right now. I fully intend to do that, just wanted a little expert advice first. Its an aluminium tube, with rod ends on each side, I'd be surprised if it didn't fit. Only thing that would hold me back is the bolt pattern on the struts. Maybe hood clearance?

Pmohr, I did search, but I PM'ed DanNY when the search went down last week, and we got to talking. Seems the search that is up now is not the same search that was up before. All in all, it doesn't work nearly as well and is a temporary fix. I hope he can get the old search working agian.

This seems to be the original search, before they put that IBsearch crap in place. This is a far better search engine, IMO (or at least was, it's crap ATM). The ability to link to a search alone is great, not to mention that it wasn't constantly failing, unlike the IBsearch has since it's been implemented.

I agree that uptime is good. The search that they were running when I joined seemed to just work better for its intended purpose. The little "Percentage Match" number was no B.S. Although, if its only up half the time, what good is it?

Thanks for the input gentlemen, I think this thread is done.

When a user signs up...I swear...they should get a page that says:

F'IN SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is for future reference for any new users.

Glad to see that you tried to search OP.
