turning rotors
They need to be done off the car on a brake lathe. If you brake hard or drive enthusiastically, I would just replace the rotors as your brakes will fade and warp easier than before. Pay now or pay later, basically.

Nissan turns them on the car with a special machine tool setup. This assures your rotor is true to the hub. I think they charge around 65 bucks to turn them for you.

Nissan wanted to charge me 450-500 for a full brake job. that includes turning all rotors and replacing all pads. i just bought pads and had my mechanic do the job without turning the rotors. i figure i will buy new rotors soon anyways.
