MEVI collector gasket

In order to verify if your screws are still tight on the butterfly plates you must remove the collector cover. The gasket is metal. I wanted to know can the metal gasket be reused, if not are they still available for purchase at a US Nissan dealership?

I would say so. Clean it up good and hit both sides of the contact surface with some rtv.

Yes, it's reusable. No worries, no RTV needed.

Thanks to both for the answers provided. I needed to know before I removed the cover to check the butterfly screws.

What I do after I check my screws is get a marker and mark the screw heads and mark the butterfly valve so that way, the next time you check them, you can see if the screws have loosened or not by checking if the marks are lined up or moved.

Loctite red should be used on the butterfly screws. There should be no way for them to loosen or come out.
