Changing Gague Bulbs

Is there anything I should know before I dive into this http://www.geocities.com/amixam69/ni...ash/index.html ?

I'm a light freak, and I'm sick of the plain white so I want to put some new bulbs in there, but I'm also always a little nervous when it comes to taking my interior a part...so i was just wondering if anyone has any cautionary tips or anything I should be careful of before I do this.

Also...what are the bulb sizes? 164 or 194 I assume?

194 will do fine... just be careful when u pull out the bezel.. tryin not to crack it when you pull it over your steering wheel.. other than that, everything should be good

Ahh ok 194 that's what I figured.

The thing I was most worried about is basically getting it back together, and plugging back in all the electronics.

its very simple to take you dash out change the lights and put everything back together. just make sure you take your time and don't lose any screws.

yeah its really easy, move your steering wheel all the way down, take the top cover off behind the steering wheel(4 screws),take out the 2 screws on the top of the bezel, pull bezel out, disconnect alarm, and light dimming connectors. 3 screws hold in the gauge "part", take those out, unplug connectors, twist old lights out, replace, and put her all back together and u r done!

in those instruction i dont c the need to take off the steering wheels pieces or the lower dash part, but in any case u need to be really ez with the gauge beazel trim when removing it over the steering wheel, be patient and u wont break it.

If hes never done it, why not do it? 2 minutes max(its 4 screws). And I didnt say take off the lower dash, I said move down the steering wheel for easier removing of the rest.

95-97 = 194
98-99 = 74

All years were 5 bulbs. Get the right ones.

its important to remove the steering wheel pieces because the piece on top blocks part of the bezel. Otherwise it would be nearly impossible to get the bezel out without it cracking....like mine did. Now i can remove mine without removing the steering wheel parts, b/c its cracked.
