Dead Maxima - What to do?

I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima SE with 300,000KM on it. The transmission just died.

The car has:
Stillen Body Kit
Tokico Illuminas
Eibach Pro Kit Spring
Brand new head lights (factory)
Brand new Fogs with 3M tape (factory)
Inside is in really good condition
Warp Speep Y-pipe
Cattman SS Catback
New tires for factory rims

I just bought a new car, and i dont have a place to put this one. Should I try and sell the parts? (anyone interested?)
Fix the transmission and sell the whole car?
Junk Yard?

Try and sell car without working transmission?

Help? Ideas would be nice.

If you aren't planning to use it anymore just part it out.

How much for the fog lights? I'll give you $75 USD shipped for them. .

I recommend to fix your car (like the post above), then sell it. You will probably make out much better than parting it out. Not to mention, most people who part things out end up with a bunch of parts that no one wants.

Next, I'd recommend researching cars on autotrader.com to determine what similar condition cars are selling for. Finally, put the car on the market!

If you price it competitively, it shouldn't be that difficult to sell it.

I think "DJ98MAXSE" is right. Id be willing to sell the body kit tho. Excellent condition.

Yes, any 95-99 auto transmission is a direct swap.

I'd take the headlights, fog lights, and WS Y off your hands if you part it out.

Are u planning to sell it or u think and plan something else? One of my friend also had this car but i do not actually remember the model of which year but he just sold it . U also can think about this option and if u r really adjust with it then u can go on. All the best.

Absolutely!

BUT - You'll get more $$$ and an easier sale if you return the car to it's stock set up. (suspension, intake & exhaust)

I would fix the car than I would keep It since the car Is in a good condition. I would keep It and try to see how much more you can get out of the car untill it breaksdown again. I personally would not sell the car If It is in a good condition.

those are nice little cars. and there is a great forum for them: mazdas247.com
and the bolt pattern is the same so I believe your rims should fit.

Go with the general consensus. 300,000 k and with all that you have already invested, just fix the tranny. Keep it as a winter ride.

I would fix the tranny as well. Too good of a car to let it die for a tranny issue. Mine just died last night. Engine blew and oil was everywhere and caught on fire in the engine compartment. I don"t think I am coming back from this one.
