Just a couple questions for installing aftermarket glow gauges.

1. Do I need to disconnect the car battery when doing this?

2. Instructions say wire the red and black wires to the headlights power supply, where exactly is that and what does it look like?

3. Will the gauges stay in place or do I need double sided tape?

  1. You don't have to, but it wouldn't be a bad idea.
  2. You can tap that at the headlight switch, or just use the illumination power at any available source. That's if you only want them to light up when the lights are on, though. Otherwise, wire it to a fused B+.
  3. They should have some sort of adhesive or other way to secure them that comes with them. Have you looked in the box yet, or do you not yet have them?
