Hi guys, just wanted to check out the new section i'll be joining.... I got rid of my '00 Maxima a couple of weeks ago and just got a '97 I30 today... It has 107k miles.. WAs wondering what yall can recommend I look out for or a common problem area with these year'ed cars....

So far, All I can tell is the intake manifold gasket needs to be replaced and probably the valve cover gaskets as well..... at what mileage do the CV boots usually start to tear in 4th gen cars?

CV boots aren't going to tear any any real specified mileage, just have to inspect them.
