Im starting to get parts for my Projector retro, and im wondering which housing you guys reccommend?

One piece, like here; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Infin...Q5fAccessories

Or the two piece, like here; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-96...Q5fAccessories

The Cefiro's will need some modification to fit on your Max. Go with some R34's.

Not a fan of R34's for retro's unless you're doing dual retro's. Have a projector in one side but not the other of the housing, to me, makes it look off.

Get OEM headlights (2 piece).

Well, I think that those 1 pc lights are the Cefiro ones that you need to modify your car to fit. The 2 piece ones are gonna be your best bet. Oh, and go bixenon if you're gonna do a non-R34 retro.

All IMO of course.

If you have single-xenon projectors, then definitely get R34s so that you can retain the high beams.

With bi-xenons, it's more of personal preference. I find the R34s to be much easier to mount things to than the OEM 2-piece housings, but I've never tried ebay 2-piece housings. The problem with the OEM ones is no separate housing and reflector, so you're stuck trying to mount the projector to curved surfaces, while the R34s you can just mount it to a flat piece of plastic.

My thinking was going with a bixenon setup, therefore eleminating the need for the r34..... if i went with the r34s i would want two set of projectors, on for high one for low. Or would you guys just suggest using the r34s with some TSX's for lows and just use normal 9007 bulbs for the highs?

i would suggest the latter, juss get projectors for the lows and leave the highs... but to each his own preference so if you like the two-projectors-on-each-headlight then go with those...

Totally agree, they look ok but you can tell right away that its a retro when only one side is a projector. The duals Ive seen in the R34s look really clean.
