Just have a quick question ~

I've got a set of V2OBX for the 4th gen back when obx released them and I'm just getting everything ready to go on, Just wondering where most of you put your wideband hole at ~ I would test fit it but with obx's stupid 2-piece design I can't. search hasn't come up with anything good either. so if anyone has any pictures of where they had it installed so it'll clear, post them please. Thanks.

 

It should be placed before the cat, I have Cattman headers and have it installed in the location below...

Thanks Flava, I know it goes before the cat but I didn't know if it'll hit anything like the engine support mount or whatever else is under there in that area.

 

Well theres room, it all depends on how you place it. When you take it in just poke your head under there and show them exactly where you want it. Not too difficult to find a good place for it since you already know the area it needs to be at.

 

Regardless of the design....after the 'y', before the cat. You will have to get under the car and test fit/eyeball where you want it to go like Flava said.

And what is the angle it has to be at? Does anyone know that off hand.

 

Did you not buy it new?
It should tell you in the intrcustions. The tip of the sensor should be pointing downward at an angle to prevent buildup of corrosion due to condensation.

It was new, but I cannot remember were I put the box.
I know that. but I thought it had to be a certain angle, if it doesn't have to be a certain ange then I will just have it put in there like you said, like I figured.

 

Anywhere between 9oclock and the 3 oclock position is recommended.
