Billet Grilles and lighting

I'd like to start off by saying hello to everyone. I have had my 96 Maxima for almost 3 years. I haven't done anything serious to it yet, mostly due to money. I have little things, stillen grille, clear lights, and I got some 2000 SE rims too, but other than my system that's it. I used to come to the site a alot but it took a dive a while ago, and in the site's absence I lost interest.

I want the billet grille for the 96 Maxima GXE, and want to make sure I get the right thing. I saw something at godfathercustoms.com, but there is no pic and I want to make sure I get 2 pieces. I don't want to order it only to find out there is only one piece for the 95-96. Does anyone have this?

I want to upgrade my lights, I don't want a kit, but I don't mind spending a decent chunk on good bulbs. I have only seen the "Solaris" brand at one site, they are pricey but supposedly (according to the site) the best. I have seen people reccomend xenon, but I don't see a 10 dollar bulb being what someone like myself is looking for. I want the best super white bulbs that will go in my factory head and fog lamps. Please give me suggestions.

Also on lights, I have the old style clears and am getting the Altezzas... and particular place you guys find the best to deal with for these?

Yes, I did check the FAQs, I am asking these questions for clarification. Most of the resources give many suggestions, I want to know what you think from experience.

I plan on getting springs, and will have questions about strut/spring combos, but I am waiting until summer to do that.

Regards,

Vygen

billet grill- they are not out yet for your car but Greg at www.custommaxima.com is now working on a billet grill for the 96 and should be comming out very soon.

Altezza- go to www.custommaxima.com Greg has a sale there for them pretty cheap.

spring/struts- I have the KONI/Apex setup which lowers it 1.6 inches all around. Nice Decent drop but it doesnt give you the "slammed" look but the ride is very nice and quiet. go to www.maximadriver.com they have a write up on different spring/strut combos somewhere there

I have the solaris bulbs, and they're very white, rated at 4300 K. problem is for you, they're the 80/100 W bulbs. with a stock harness you can only go up to 45/65 W bulbs safely. however, with a headlight harness, mine is APC (only 50 bucks), voila, you can handle over-wattage bulbs because it takes energy directly from the battery and sends it through big beefy wires compared to nissan's stock P.O.S. wiring. I had a problem with one of the bulbs though, it wouldn't light unless the harness was very snug on the top part of it and the APC harness doesn't *snap* onto the bulbs ????? anyways, so i fixed it by running some braided picture wire behind my harness so it's constantly held tight to the bulb, works like a charm. as for the foglights, i have the PIAA Xtreme White H3 55W bulbs, stock wattage. they're very white and rated at 4150 K. my headlights and foglights look great and match perfectly. i got the PIAA's at www.autobulbdepot.com they've got good prices and service is very fast, 2nd day air, ordered on sunday, got them tuesday
