IACV/TB cleanout results (not what i expected)...

My cars problem is that if allowed to idle in park or neutral with headlights/fogs on (idles at 700), and then shifted into either R or D, the RPMs drop by about 200 (hover just under 500) and the car idles very roughly. Since many others seemed to have had a similar problem, i decided to clean the iacv and tb again. first time i cleaned the tb i just took off the ribbed hose and couldnt see much, and scrubbed what i could. didnt solve the problem. this time i removed mafs all the way up to the tb...a lot easier to see in there this way. it was quite clean anyway, but brushed in there with tb cleaner for teh hell of it. i also removed the entire IACV unit from the car. I removed the idle adjust screw, sprayed tb cleaner in there, and removed the two screws that held the brown colored plastic harness connector on there. Inside was a threaded rod type thing, it was covered in black stuff (not too much), and i cleaned that off, and also sprayed into the metal hose on the top of the iacv unit (the hose which connects to the airbox assy.). didnt know what else to spray/remove. Put everything back together, and the car still behaves the same way (low rpms as described above). I dont know what to try next!? please help!?

Maybe you need to adjust the idle.
