Bye Maxima.org

Well, I sold my 1999 Maxima SE for $1100 and a 12 pack of corona. Ya ya.. way too low. It has 300,000 KM on it and the transmission was busted. I was happy to get it away from the front of my house...

Regardless I have learnt alot from this car, my first car.

1. Your an idiot if you poor lots of money to your everyday car in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The winter / Rocks beat the **** outta it.

2. Lots of informaiton from you guys on the forum.

3. After market parts RARELY fit and look as nice as OEM.

anyways, I bought a cheap car for this round because I drive so much for work. 2009 Mazda 3 GT. the only thing I took from my Max was the rims.

Thanks for all the information on here and have fun modding!

Kev

Buddy.... I would have paid you for some of your parts. I wish you would have hit me up. Oh well how are you liking the mazda three? I see you around university with it.
And modifying your car is your personal preference. Yes paint will get chewed up by the gravel the city puts on the roads but I still am tweaking my car. And rocks are better than salt on the roads anyday. IMHO at least.

Isnt that the truth. Im trying to get rid of the caravan to get another max(#3)

Id way rather have rocks chip the crap out of my hood, then this salt crap(that is still probley on our roads)that puts a real nice poop bronze color on my car.Not that i dont mind, but the salt does eat the shet right out of my car.

My mod budget is supplemented by bets I win against people saying "no car can get up that hill in this snow." Is the person you sold it to getting it back on the road atleast?
