Keeping it running problem!!!

Bought two 1996 Maximas EACH FOR 400, one is for driving(Started starting not long ago), the other one is for parts(dead).
So I start my max, the RPM gets up to 2000 in the first second, and falls down to 0 right after Or sometimes it manages to idle at 400-500RPM, and when I press on the gas the throttle seems to suffer and the response is crapy (when I press on the gas in any gear, it seems like it doesnt wat to go up for firstsecond and then rpm starts to build up and when i let of the gas it jus shuts off or barelly runs at 100RPM and gets back into 400RPM zone in the next couple seconds.
I have adjusted the little thing on the throtle and now it idles at 1000, but that is because, I adjusted the throtle (doesnt the engine suppose to idle by itself without anything being adjusted further from the normal set up on the throttle body) I assume that something is wrong, could someone tell me if it's wrong or not!?!??!
Maybe the engine is dying? Injectors? F''k all
By the way couple of times when I have swithed in to the neuteral (Automatic Transmission that bangs at every shift (by the way)) it went up into 2000RPM zone without me stepping on the gas, I switched it into the Parking gear and it went back to 1000RPM
When it is in Drive Gear it is at 1500RPM at idle.
THX for your time!

try adjusting the green idle screw behind the tb. If that doesnt work take out the iacv and clean the crap out of it.

I adjusted the idle screw but it seems like its eating too much gaz, 4 20 minutes of idling it ate 1/12 of the gas tank

And you got this extremely accurate 1/12 number from what, our precision calibrated fuel gauge?

Clean the IACV, clean the TB, set the idle correctly.

Warm the engine up to operating temp.
Turn off the engine.
Disconnect the TPS.
Restart the engine and adjust the default throttle body stop screw to optain ~650 RPM's in Park.
Turn off the engine and reconnect the TPS.
Start the engine and observe the idle speed, it should be ~750, adjust the IACV if it's not.
