Dash guage fogged up...any suggestions?

I windexed the plastic peice covering the speedometer and the other guages, and now it has fogged up the inside...I cant wipe it off and it's annoying as hell! Anyone come across this problem also? Any suggestions to clean it up other than taking apart the whole dash? Thanks

Taking apart the dash isn't all that hard. I can do it in less than 5 minutes now.

Go to http://www.maximadriver.com and check the how2 section or here: http://www.geocities.com/amixam69/nissan/dash for instructions on taking apart the dash.

That also happened to me after using windex. Funny thing is that I took out my dash and tried wiping it but it wasnt foggy, Seems that it kinda smooked the outside of the plastic and you can see the marks the windex left when it was dripping. I ended up using my fingernails to scratch off the smokey layer and all is fine now.

Weird....

Let me know if that works.

Don't ever use windex on that clear plastic cover. It's some sort of residue that will stain the plastic.
