Clear Corner Security

Does anyone know how to bolt or secure the clear corners so nobody can take them.

Thanx,
GoNe

That way didn't work for me. The hex was too short. I heard somebody say to put a screw and a washer. Haven't tried it yet.

Yup, thats what I did as well, I used a screw and a washer. Holds the clear lens in securely.

Do you remember the size of the screw you used?

is like a coin with a hole in the middle and you put the screw thru it thats a washer. They have different types of washers locking washers etc... but thats what you put the screw thru, it is usually used to secure the screw. , not a dumb question, thats the one thats never asked

I have the same type of screw i used to secure the clear lense leftover, but it doesn't say the size, so I will have to measure the diameter with a ruller and tell you my approximations. Actually I'll comapre it to a drill bit tomorrow and I'll let you know. Also the thread of the "screw-like" thing supplied with the clear lens that snaps into the plastic clip on your bumper is very unique and is very difficult to find such a screw (the threads are widely spaced). However a normal screw should do fine, or at least it did for me. From approximation I can say that the screw is either 1/32 " or one size down from that. I'll let you know tomorrow.
