Slave or master clutch

So the pin off my slave cylinder is not moving in or out. Obviously my slave isnt working. But my question is how do i tell if the master is the culprit. If i opened up my slave bleeder there should be brake fluid coming out if the master is working correctly RIGHT???

Edit: This all happened while i was shifting fast and hard. All of a sudden i couldnt shift into any gear. And i noticed that the pin wasnt moving at all.

Correct, if you pump the clutch pedal with the bleeder open on the slave, there should be brake fluid coming out (if the master is working).

Now there is brake fluid in the reservoir, right?

Did you check the clutch pedal bracket for any breakage, see if the clevis pin is still there?

yes there is still brake fluid in the reservoir.

I have not checked for breakage but im think its still good cause there is somewhat pressure coming from the clutch

So i replaced the slave and it pushes the pin out and everything but i cant shift again...............It worked for about a mile or two

So im guessing the throwout went out and f'd up my slave in the process. Well looks like i gotta wait till wendsday when i drop in the 3.5

Have you tried taking the slave off and seeing if it extends then? Obviously you don't want to push the pedal all the way, as you'll just blow the piston out. You could also try moving the clutch fork manually (a pry bar or something).

^^

I have already trying prying the fork and it doesnt go into gear.

Never thought of the piston coming out of the slave though. but i watched it move the fork numurous of times(after the fact that the car wont go into gear). I also have thought of the idea that my fork might be bent as well.

I can also drive it in one gear. I can only change gears while the engine is not running.

Either which way i do have a spare tranny.

Please also check your master pump as well because it may not be giving enough pressure for the slave to move completely.
