How to wire a new "universal" antenna/motor unit?

I've bought a new universal antenna. I am wondering, does anyone know how to correctly wire it? The antenna unit I bought has wires labeled 12V+ and 12V-, ground, and the coaxial signal cable.

It's wired nothing like the stock antenna. Anyone have experience here?

EDIT: I figured out the electrical stuff, anyway. Now I just have to jury rig everything together. The "universal" antenna kit does not have the right mounting holes, so I will have to secure it with some creativity. The female antenna signal plug is non-standard, thanks Nissan. So I will have to jury rig that too. I would still appreciate any advice in that area.

There's an adaptar you can purchase, ckeck a local car audio shop. As for mounting, figure it out - if it's not OEM / stock, you may have to make some modifications to it. Think outside the box.

As for the 12v + - that's a signal wire to power up the antenna when the radio gets power. You can tie it to the 12v power (with key on) or a 'remote' output from the head unit.
