oil pressure light flickers upon start up...??

I use Wix filters usually. But ya I just started having the same problem. The last things I did were when I changed the oil I just removed the filter and drained it put it back on to save cash you know. I also ran some guaranteed to pass through it to pass cali emissions. Hope it wasn't guaranteed to reduce oil pressure for some strange reason

I use Wix or Mobile filters (when I have some extra cash). Changing the oil pressure sensor fixed this problem for me as well. Mine was leaking past the connector.

Just wanted to point out also that this thread was opened July 09, came back in March 10 and May 10, and has just been resurrected again... Would this be considered a John McClane thread? It just won't die... (btw all the Die Hard's on Blu-ray w/ True HD surround = sofa king awesome.)

haha yeah I saw that I opened this a while back and its still living! Still flickers btw
