Painted Spark Plug Cover Finished

So I started up this project for my dad a couple of weeks ago because the paint on his original spark plug cover was really dull and faded. I put it back on last week but I didn't have the chance to take any pictures until now.

Here it is in all its glory:

And from out the back of my Fit:

Thanks for looking

I like it! I work for a bamboo importer in Dalton, GA. I think bamboo should be stuck on everything.

Red and green are complementary colors. You know, like on a color wheel? C'mon it's like Christmas!

It reminds me of an RB26's valve cover. It looks like you did a full engine swap haha, looks great bro. I might do something like that later on, thanks for the inspiration.

Yes, original engine. I'm the second owner, bought it in 2000. Currently 162k with original clutch (bought it with 49k). Had to chuck the Bose as the CD player was skipping. Here's the link to the Pioneer I put in. Some nice pictures here....yeah my son took them

Meh, yellow shmellow. I don't know what colors dad wanted to go with but I've always thought that a deep red is classy. The headlights look so weird because they are aftermarket lamps. For some reason the shields are different ( I think the shields are based off of 95-96 Maximas) and don't have a cap on them, leaving the fronts open so that the shield is just a cylinder around the bulb. They work just dandy though?

Everyone else - thanks so much for the praise. I'm really surprised that everyone here seems to really like the wood floor too

The red and green don't look too bad, nice paint job. The bamboo is very nice!

For the guy talking about hood shocks, just replace them, I did.

Stand in line boys. If he makes one for a Max it'll be me first. THEN he can set up his "cottage industry" . Hmmm, bamboo is nice. If truth be told I steered him towards the bamboo. He wanted something light colored and was looking at some "washed" flooring.....yucccch. I suggested he looked at the bamboo. I almost used the bamboo on our floors but wound up with hickory. Still like that bamboo...tough stuff. However, I've always been partial to a nice rich, deep cherry. It would look good in a max. Maybe with some chrome strips inlay

I got a feeling that this was a widespread issue... Up in the gen. max section someone posted "You know you own a maxima when... Your hood struts don't work" and so far I'm 2/2 on maximas w/ non working hood struts.

huh... go figure? mine have Never let me down. They seriously hold the hood so well that i can start to close it and half way closed it still stands..

So, on another note to the OP im def thinkin Flava might be right.. I mean perfectly honest In the beginning White Lettering seemed like a good idea to me.. But When he made the suggestion of Red.. I had to jump on the bandwagon.. You should.. Cmon you know you wanna
