97-99 Red/Clear templates
just wondering if anyone has a spare set of the template for the inserts to make red clear tails? don't know if this should go into the classifieds, mod please move if needed.

I'm guessing he wants to take out the amber portion and replace it with flourescent lighting cover, so he needs a template.
Man, what a PITA that was for my 95-96 red clears. Just remember, a Dremel is your friend.

I doubt anyone has a digital template for it. I just took the amber and red lenses and traced them on the fluorescent lighting cover. Then I trimmed the corners here and there to get it to fit nicely.

I do...but you still have to trim/sand the flourescent lights to fit them. Just take out one headlight and do what schmelly said, trace the amber portion onto paper, and then onto the plastic.

i think i may have them in the salon somewhere, and they were a PITA taking it all apart.
What i recommend is with the flourescent lights is trace around the amber part, and with a heat gun carefully bend them to conform to the amber shape so it's easier to put back in the taillight.
Like said before a Dremel is your friend and clear epoxy to fill in any gaps.
