intake sensor question?

which sensor goes under the metal tubing in a SRI? i put in a SRI a while back but i think i might have lost an air sensor. everything seems to be working well, had a service engine light but it went away but itself. any help?

What was the code for your service engine light? to my knowledge there are three sensors for air... MAF, "Boost Sensor" (Barometrice Pressure Sensor), and the Intake Air Temp Sensor.

All which can throw codes.

FWIW some SRI's need a hole drilled for the IATS (I just stuck mine in the pipe, it makes a whistle when under WOT so it sounds like I'm boosted, but hey it's a user preference thing...), also you need to zip tie the boost sensor to something (It's on my PCV tube).

I just re-read your post... It's your IATS most likely, I had a code for it when I left it out dangling, put it back and it hasn't re-appeard.
