how much C4?

how much C4 would it take to blow a 95 maxima at least 10 storys off the ground? any body have any advice on where to get some C4 and blasting caps?

every time i drive my maxima im realy pissed off whenever i get where im going. i keep having probs with it everytime i drive it its something new. right now it had a 100% deal injector so im running on 5 clys. right after i got the car i had to spend $500 that i did not have to put a trans in the car. everytime i run over a soda can my car scrapes the ground its anoying. maybe most of this is me being pissed off at my self for trading a prefectley good tire smoken lincoln for this POS. before i ddi the trade i got on here and read all the good things about the car and that is has potential to be so much. i read that the car is so relilible and yadda yadda well so far it has been nothing but trouble for me.

i can see tht this could be a quick car with a few little mods but i cant mod the damm thing if i cant keep the stock parts together long enough for me to make a pay check. so far out of all the cars i have owned i rate this one on a scale of 1-10 (10 being best) my rating would be a hardcore -3.

sorry if i offended anyone here or what not but i just had to rant a little before i put a brick on my gas peddal and walk away from the car.

My car cost me 700 before i even got to modding, runs like a dream, im always hoping its an investment
what you dont read about on here are the 1000's people spend on starting issues or the hundreds on coils, you picked a bad car to not be payying for the little things. In all honesty i ran on 5 cyls for 9 months before i even got to it with all the other issues, and all winter i didnt go out to eat once because i was to busy replacing sensors failing left and right.
Right this second in fact im buying suspension brushings to replace my decayed old ones.
in all honesty when i look at the big picture i hate my maxima sometimes, but then i get in for a drive and...
-nice bonniville btw. i have a 93, feel like its flowing on water, im supercharged also.
-and if you hate your drop so much, ill trade yah my stocks+100$ lol

Edit; terrible night grammer.fixed somewhat

the springs on the car cant be for this car all of the coils touch except for the last one on the front the back looks about right at maybe a 1" or 1.5" drop witch is about how i want it.

To answer your original question, to put a 3000 pound Maxima 110 feet in the air (10 stories) would require quite a bit of C4. If you put a distributed amount of the explosive underneath, it would require 500-600 pounds. That's uncalculated, but a pretty good guess from personal experience with cratering charges.

Ah sorry for your problems, it seems like you got one of those "money pit" cars. I mean a majority of cars on here are well maintained and work and will continue to work perfectly for a looong time. But just like any car there are those cars that are too far gone to be up to par without some money invested into it.

Is there anything that you could fix yourself? I am sure lots of people are willing to help you out

just because your maxima is a POS, doesnt mean that all maximas are pieces of ****s. you just got the car from someone who probably never took care of it. and if you dont want to scrape soda cans, raise the car up. there's maximas out there with over 200k miles and are still running strong without any problems, with the exception of regular maintainence. "motor rebuilt by me with small cam, alum intake, and headders", and yet you cant fix a simple misfire. looks like you're into american muscle, stick to it..

my car was 850 bad coils, engine leak, tube seal busted, wouldnt start, codes, Knock sensor, bad ground, cracked bumper. and with some love it only has the cracked bumper you have to really love your car and it will pay you back three times better if you were looking for a fast car just to have a fast car and mistreat it than you should have gone for a honda (i know not fast) but you at least would have destroyed something worth destroying and not a car worth the time and effort in modding

Well you could just wire up one stick of C4 place it in the center of your car & then fill the entire cabin with stainless steel ball bearings. Then you would have the worlds largest claymore mine. The good news would be that it would be alot more likely to get the car 10ft off the ground because it would break it up into lil tiny pieces first...

PS, Bought my maxima new in 98 & I've only to replace the radiator (My Fault by the way)....... I cracked the tank on accident & it was cheaper for me to just replace it then have it repaired???

I was going to say ibtl too, lol. Your car is 14 years old, it was probably ragged out and not maintained properly since you are not the original or not even the 2nd owner. It was an auto I assume... I don't trust auto trannies, manual ftw. Bottom line our cars are old, they don't usuallly have major problems, its little stuff like coil packs etc. Annoying, but usually minor.

No way of blowing your maxima 80 feet into the air. Not possible.

You get your car 80ft into the air with C4, and there will be no car left.

If you want it to go high, dig a pit for each wheel and a pit underneath for the explosives. That way there is dirt around the underside to focus the energy up into the vehicle and not out the sides.

Only problems I been having with my maxi is just wear and tear stuff that I pretty much casued to do driving habits.(motor mounts, Front end parts, Clutch, brakes... etc)

I still think shes still a pretty reliable car non the less as the only other 6 things that were not my fault like A/C clutch, Ebrake cable and trans bearing both axles and EGR clog and Knock sensor. Those are pretty much known for going. The funny thing is it just depends on how well it was taken care of and if you got a better one then someone else or not. It is still over all a reliable car. At least engine wise for sure.

Just because you buy a maxima doesn't mean that you don't have to worry about buying a complete pos that has been put togethor from at least 10 different cars, had 8 owners, wrecked 5 times, and needs new everything.

As much C4 as it takes to fill your trunk and floor.
