retros from depoautolights?

just got the lights and installed them today. also picked up a set of h7 hids. surprisingly the projector they use in their light retros are good. well, at least in my opinion :P cutoff is alot better then initially expected.

will post up pics after i get over my laziness

oh,
and the price is decent too lol

So the projector they use requires an H7 bulb?

here you go. one flaw i did notice with these lights was that the projector is not set out far enough so you do get some glare from light reflecting off part of the housing. easy remedy would be to black the headlight out which i will be doing soon

and id advise against getting the blue angel eyes. im not running them as of now because theyre illegal. go with white if anything

350 for the lights and free shipping so 350 total

Output doesn't look too bad. Did that $350 include bulbs and ballasts? If so, then it's an ok deal. To do your own retrofit, you're usually looking at $75 for 97-99 headlights, $75 for a HID kit, $50 for projectors, $50 for shrouds, harness, and misc. hardware = $250. Plus a lot of labor.

Do the projectors have high beams? Looks like maybe a H7 version of an E39 or E46 or E55 projector... the slope is definitely ECE, and all of those projectors originally came in H7 before being D2S.

the projectors dont have high beams. the hids i had did have connections for the high beams but i ended up just using the h7 bulbs and my existing 9004 hid harness so i wouldnt have to splice anymore wires. i dont know if the high beams would have been halogen or hid though

thanks for the compliment!

this is totally off topic but id rather not start another thread. how much do auto shops usually charge to change out struts and springs. is it costly and should i try and do it myself and borrow the tool from checkers?

theres none on the site because you can get these to fit into a maxima with some modifications. i think theres a sticky on it in the 4th gen forums.

ya, only gonna use the angel eyes for show lol. possibly rewire it to the turn signal if it doesnt look too rice.

I almost bought those lights, but whenever I emailed them, they'd never respond to my questions about sending me a cut-off pic or the name of the projectors used.
