Need Help Bolting Down Factory Spoiler...

I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. Does Nissan factory spoilers bolt down with 4 or 8 bolts? I finally got my aftermarket spoiler painted and I did the install yesterday, well it's halfway done. I was able to line it up perfectly and I drilled 4 holes for the 4 bolts that go into the center left and right tabs of the spoiler, but my problem is, I can drill the 4 holes for the 4 bolts for the outer tabs of the spoiler but I cannot see where the holes are when I look under the trunklid. It's weird, I can see them for the center left and right tabs as if Nissan intentionally made cutouts to screw in the bolts, but not for the outer tabs. With just the center tabs it secures the spoiler just fine, except my outer tabs do not touch the trunklid, so I'm asking should I just drill those 4 holes and make my own cutouts underneath the trunklid to screw in the bolts or just get some doublesided 3M tape and tape it down? I already had to drill a hole in the trunklid under the outer right tab of the spoiler in order to run the Brake LED wire to my taillight, and now I'm a little worried about water getting in that hole since it's not bolted down on that side. Somebody please give me some help. Thanks.

when i installed my spoiler...the body shop and I drilled a 2 holes in each left and right tab...just so we could reach one of the holes we drilled. then we just took some rubber grommets and filled the holes...i haven't had any problems with water leakage or anything...
