Question about Front Windshields

Ok org, we all know there are many differences between the 95-96 and the 97-99 maximas. I have a friend who bought a maxima from me and his windshield started to crack badly. My question is, will a windshield from a 97 fit onto a 96 maxima. From the general look of it, there are no differences at all. But I wanted to makes sure there were no fitment issues between the different year maximas before we pulled the windshield. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Used windshield? You must be crazy..

A new windshield cost me under 180 installed. So nice to have perfectly clear glass again.

i would be willing to bet it is but all you need to do is call an auto glass place and pretend that you need a quote to replace the windshield on your 95 and 98 maxima's and then in casual conversation ask him if they are the same windshield. Question answered

Wow, here in MA, our car insurance covers windshields with no deductible. About 5 years ago (when my Max had 162K and was 10 years old) I called my insurance co. and explained to them that my windshield was badly pitted. Two days later a local glass company came and installed new glass right in my driveway at zero cost to me. Simple.
