i took one apart once but it was a long time ago. It was a bad switch but i remember trying to put it back together with limited success.

I would go get a new switch and consider this a lesson learned.

it's only $30 at auto zone:

seriously man, just buy a new one, its 26 dollars at my autozone, your car will start better, end of story.

also, funny, when i replaced my switch out i also took it apart, i found a small metal ball a few weeks later and was wondering what it was from!

also, please be more descriptive in your thread titles.

2?

seriously though, it was like 6 years ago. I think there were 3 or 4. That is a total blind guess though

I replaced mine and never looked back after tax @ autozone i think it was 31.00 bucks.

They tend to go bad anyway after about a hundred thousand miles and then you have to be fiddling with the key just to start it.

30 bucks and 30 minutes is all you need.
