so i took out my ignition switch to see if was part of my starting problem and onc ei got it out i decided to take a look see inside ....
well it all came flying apart and now i cant get it back together
has anyone ever seen the inside of the switch or kows how to put it back together i have 2 copper rings one spring and 2 steel *****
im not sure where the 2 steels ***** go
any help much appreciated

i took one apart once but it was a long time ago. It was a bad switch but i remember trying to put it back together with limited success.
I would go get a new switch and consider this a lesson learned.

seriously man, just buy a new one, its 26 dollars at my autozone, your car will start better, end of story.
also, funny, when i replaced my switch out i also took it apart, i found a small metal ball a few weeks later and was wondering what it was from!

I replaced mine and never looked back after tax @ autozone i think it was 31.00 bucks.
They tend to go bad anyway after about a hundred thousand miles and then you have to be fiddling with the key just to start it.
30 bucks and 30 minutes is all you need.
