Problem with bolt on transmission pan

The last bolt will not come off and it appears its really not a 5 sided bolt anymore. And I don't have a replacement one handy.

Sawing off the bolt? I dunno.

Ideas?

hmm, how bout a vise grip.

off to Canadian Tire to get more bolts.

Drill it and extract it. Re-tap the threads of the hole if needed.

If you don't have anything to drill/tap with, just use a little RTV in that area when you reinstall it. The 21 bolts are so close together that if one is missing I doubt you will have a leak (yeah, one of my Max's is missing one that I torqued too tightly...no leaks so far).

Rip the.. ? ok rtv is some plug stuff.

I had 4 liters drain from the pan so I may just bolt it back together. dang.

Vise wrench? Are you referring to vice grips, or something else? If something else, then try vice grips.

Have you tried using a bolt-out (or similar)?

What do you mean 5 sided? It shouldn't ever have been '5 sided'.
