when you remove it, what is behind it? is there an indent or just some holes? or nothing

Hey Barto,
when you remove the trim, you'll see that it is indented a little bit for the trim to fit, and there are two tiny holes (circles) on each door where the clips on the back of the moulding fit in to. hope that answers your question.
