sway bar bushings overtightened??

I changed my sway bar link Bushings with the MOOG bushings before i parked my car up for a year. Now Im back on the road and it turns out the bushings are already bad. I found out when i was about to get an alignment done. I looked and they're empty

I was told that I probably tigtened too much.
I made sure that it was a perfect L when I did it, so the Question is it possible that I overtightened them??

This is not my pic this is just a reference pic

My rule of thumb is that the bushing, once compressed, should not extend beyond the edge of the retainer/washer. In the reference photo above I would consider the top bushing to be slightly overly compressed, but it could just be the angle of the photo.

torque them down to the specs in the manual and you won't have to worry about this again.

what does "I made sure it was a perfect L" mean?

Agreed.
Done them like that for nearly 30 years.
Replace them with Energy Suspension ones, and never worry about them again.

I have to say, I put on Moog sway bar end link bushings, and after about three weeks the thonking sound they initially cured was back. I tightened the nuts to the recommended torque spec, so overtightening wasn't the problem. I also replaced the stock end links with Moogs.

I used ES bushings for the ones that go under the clamps, closer to the steering rack. I couldn't really tell any difference in quality between ES and Moog, just by looking. I thought Moog was a reliable brand.
