OBD connection problem
I have searched and have found my answer
in short i went to my mechanics to clear a code so i could drive for a few days before i get my sticker but the scan tool said it could not connect and he said the fuse for the obd2 was bad but he was busy and didn't show me it.
Is this possible and is there a fuse for the obd2 itself??
Thanks

If you've already searched and found your answer...
Yes, the power to the DLC is on a fuse. It's the 10A engine control fuse in the interior fuse box, number 17.
Mind you, that fuse is also tied in with the fuel pump and other required systems for the engine to run, so if you can start and drive you car, it's unlikely to be the cause.
Test for power and ground at the DLC, go from there.

Mine would not register when I went to do emissions, so I had to do the regular sniffer test each time. I traced the wires from the ecu to the connector and found out there was a short in the data wire, I replaced the wire and everything is good.
