P0705 with a MT?

When I changed my clutch the first time a P0705 (Park/Neutral Position) popped up and I cleared it not thinking much about it. 700 plus miles later after the second clutch install while driving at about 50 mph it popped up again. Near as I can tell this is only for AT cars (that is where the code and diagnostics are in the FSM) and mine is obviously not an AT - am I wrong and there is a neutral switch somewhere I need to worry about?

Moon,

Did u do a swap? I forget. But i do remember u had a clutch issue like a wk ago.

That code on a MT is weird. Per FSM P0705 is for inhibitor sw, Circuit AT-82....very strange

possible the sensor is dirty. There is a small round piece of electronic at the bottom of the trans where is senses if you are in 1 of the 5 gears plus the reverse gear or sitting in neutral. hope this helps.
