100k update

My sterling silver 99' se 5mt rolled 100k a few months back (now at 102,xxx). I thought I'd give an update on how things are holding up on both the OEM parts, and aftermarket parts that were installed throughout it's life. I'm the third owner, and am good friends with the other two. The maintenance history has been meticulously documented.

The engine and trans work flawlessly. Motor has seen Mobile 1 synthetic from it's first oil change. Diff bearings seem to be holding up just fine in the trans.

OE parts Replaced:
-Clutch @90k
-1 Coil Pack @90k
-Driver's side half shaft at 102k
-Front lower ball joints at 102k. These showed signs of failure around 95k
-Sway bar end links. One at 80k, another at 102k.
-Muffler/b-pipe rusted out at 70k. Replaced with stillen b-pipe, OE muffler.
-FR brakes at 70k

Aftermarket parts history:

Installed with 5k on the clock:
-Eibach Pro-kit. Rusty, but still works great. No sagging
-Tokico Blues. Front right blew out at 95k. Replaced all with new Blues at 102k
-Rear sway bar. Not sure on the brand. It's painted blue. Held up great for 10 years!
-Warpspeed non-ss y pipe installed at 75k. Rusty, tho flex section looks good still.

The body is starting to rust around the rear fenders and rear rockers. I fixed this on my old 96' maxi, and I'll be doing it again this spring on this ca r. 11 ohio winters can take a toll.

My biggest complaint about the car has been the rear beam suspension and the powerband. The car drives like my friends lowered s-10 on bumpy, twisty roads. The engine has great mid range power, but just falls on its face above 5500. The gearing in 1st thru 4th could be a little closer as well. I guess I get spoiled by my hondas.

I wish I could have found a Maxima with that low of miles... mine had 180,000 when I bought it (about a month and a half ago) - I managed to find a couple of it's service records (tires, brakes, battery - all different times and all from Sam's Club Auto Center - which is interesting as I have a Sam's Club Business account - and never take my car there)...
I'll have to do one of these when I roll 200,000 miles

You forgot alternator at 98k and the rear brakes were done at 70k and the fronts around 89k Front were original they rusted instead of wore out. You know that was once my car don't act like you have owned it for ever.

Rear brakes @70k my ***. I don't think the pads are making any effort to touch the rotors. They are all rusted up. What all did you replace back there?

Looks like you replaced the pads but neglected to swap out the slider pins. Those things are frozen solid. The rotors are pretty pitted from not being used, and the pads have worn very unevenly. I just fixed this exact problem on my brother's 3rd gen over the weekend. In his case, we put new rotors on. I'm wondering if it will be OK to just fix the pins, get new pads, and re-use the rotors? (I am cheap)
