my foggie adjusting screw doesnt work
my foggie adjusting screw doesnt work
during the flooding of the north east the other week, one of my fog hid ballasts got wet and took a ****.
so i had it replaced (under warranty), and proceeded to re install it. so everythings fine. mind you, when i first installed the hid fogs, i pulled to a wall 25 ft, and marked it 4" down from the middle of the fog lens, as required for correct use.
i didnt touch these screws ever since. (no reason to). i re mount the ballast. i put the fog back in, and whadda u know, they are shining almost to the floor.
so i first think thats weird. i did remove them, but the screw is untouched. so i re adjust the drivers side, and its ok. the passenger side however, doesnt move at all when im adjusting either way.
i did also notice a huge difference...negatively in the light output. its like horrible.
does anybody know a. why my screw wont adjust the reflector? and b. what happened to my light output?
