Shift ****

Hi. I have 97' SE.
I am thinking about changing my Maxima's Shift **** (Manual).

My question is.. What is the size of the diameter of the stick(the part where the **** attaches to the stick)?
Is that 10mm?
I need to comfirm this so that new one will fit.

I would appreciate if anyone can answer my question.

Thank you, in advance.

hmm, that's a good question. i guess the best way to find out would be to measure. . if you are looking for a direct replacement ****, do a search for 'miata shift *****' or something like that, because there is a ball shaped **** for miatas that threads right onto the maxima shifter.
