using keys in locks once in awhile

I know this is obvious but everyone should use their keys on car locks with keyless entry once in awhile to lube the locks. I didn't use my trunk lock in at least a yr and it took a couple minutes for the key to work.

I know, you get into the habit of just using the remote and you don't even think about it. For some reason, it crossed my mind two days ago.

I haven't used mine since I bought it. The passenger side sounded pretty bad, reall dry and scratchy but turned easily. All the others turned easily...BTW my car is 97

Re: he he he

I probably should do that for my door locks. I recently got a new remote (lost the old one) and the trunk button doesn't even work now so....

Key?

Lock?

Wait... you mean to tell me those I can fit my key into those silver round things on my door?

I don't remember the last time I put my key into the locks, I'm also really used to just using the remote now.

How about WD-40? Also auto store might sell graphite or some other lube.

I have a spare key to lock the doors when I warm up the car, but other than that it's all remote entry. my remote no longer has any writing on it. not even the nissan lettering
