EGR GUide tube - Bottom 2 screws/studs
So I'm in the process of taking of the EGR guide tube, and I finally got the nut of the hacked screw/stud.
I'm pretty new to this process, but does the screw/stud itself need to be removed somehow? No one's instructions for this process say so but I'm wondering how exactly the EGR guide tube comes off if the stud is still in place.
Do I need to somehow remove the stud that the nut was on the remove the EGR guide tube or does the EGR tube slide of these studs somehow (i.e. do I need to beat and bang it to get it to pull off these studs?) There is so much rust down there nothing is budging so I'm just curious if I need to do some banging to free up the tube's bottom from the studs that the bolts were on or do I need to actually remove the studs somehow.
