Yup, I sold my maxima to a good friend of mine. Because since we got a new tundra i decided to sell the max and drive my GS..
But then again, i'm saving money for a 4 banger boosted integra. I might get it, might not. But, i just wanted to say thanks to you orgers that have helped me out with everything. Hopefully i'll come around another maxima one day.

Maybe I'm wrong, but selling your car or no longer being the owner of a Max does not automaticlly ban one from the forum. As such, you are more than welcome to post and interact with everyone here.

like Cashoit said, he'll be back... just look at how many OGs have left and returned after a a year or two! Once you've owned a Max, its always in your heart and you'll always remember good memories you had in it.
ive been a member since 2001 under different names owed three maxima even a 3rd gen an im back and so will u once u go max youll never go back to acura or honda owned a shi*civic got to love the vq power

the reason i sold the max was cause my friend wanted it so bad, and the tranny is shot, while the ignition control module is needing to be replaced plus the EGR system has to be replaced (AGAIN), i dunno why. and yeah.
but, for now, ima invest my money in a boosted teg and use that as a DD. my maxima wasn't able to take me to walmart and back. well, not without whining and partially dying. so long for the max.
But i will admit, if i sell another one of the vehicles. i might sell my GS300 and get a 97 max, and start all over. but for now, i need a break from them

^^^all i have to saying coming from a fellow honda guy and living in a city full of ricers is that becarefully on cars like those. yea it might be boosted and probably a good deal but 1) your buying someone elses work 2) you dont know what the hell the owner did or drove it 3) your going to be wondering if it'll be outside right where you left it at the next morning.
my 4th gen wouldnt of been my 1st, 2nd or 10th choice but after having it for almost 2 years it grew on me and the one thing i love about it is that it will be at the same spot i parked it when i'm at the mall, movies, and infront of my house. no worries about wondering if some one is going to steal it...

As for your Maxima not being able to take you places such as walmart... I dont know man, I dont really know you and dont wanna judge you, but based on the one or two threads I've seen you make in the passed few months; you seem like the person that spends money on making the car pretty and speeding on the highway. That's just an observation and I could be wrong but if I'm correct, every car you get will be the same.
Thats cool I guess, good luck with that. I can agree with MaxiNone, I know a lot of people (friends/coworkers) who've gotten their cars stolen while we're hanging out or at work. There's a big market for used parts out there and people will go pretty far to get them.

you know, if i never hooked up that coolant line to the EGR hose by accident, i would still have maxi by now. 
considering about the other car, i dunno if ima be able to make it off the driveway with that thing.. "doesn't know how to drive a 5 speed" anyways. hopes things will work out for me. xD
