Where can you purchase this product? I might want to do some practice items to see how well I can apply it.

1st question then, is you hood 1 piece?? if its 55''X36"I don't think it would be

second question, how does it hold up to weather and washing it??

To wrap small items such as trim and etc. I think it looks good.
But once you go applying it to your hood, trunk and etc. it just looks cheap.

I agree!!

Even though I've done this on my 240 with the 3M carbon fiber vinyl. I just did my mirrors and center part of my lip. Places the see lots of little rocks and bugs. Anything lager then that seems out of place and doesn't flow with the car.

But that's just my $.02

Im not positive, but if it lays down anything like vinyl it will NOT cover hail damage

1> It's one piece, because it is a fabric it will stretch. Our 4th Gen Hoods are 60" wide and the length I used was 54" (1-1/2 Yards)

2> It's been in the market overseas for 5 years and it held up for 5 years. I use Mother's car soap on it.

It's great to cover up minor chips and scratches or oxidation on your hood and gives it a different look. I put it on my hood to promote Carbon Guard since I sell it and to cover up some rock chips.

First off i had to take the whole center console out.
Then remove each part from the metal radio bracket.
Clean each part for adhesion.
Pre cut the Carbon Guard for each piece.
Apply Carbon Guard to part and trim.
Reinstall pieces back into car.

Like Vinyl, it has adhesive on one side. Basically you can peel and stick.
