Question about struts!

so i lowered my car today at school, maxspeed springs,**** looks good

but..my new kyb's may be a problem. i have 17 00 wheels on there and they are pretty wide..i think the front wheels are hitting the strut where the spring sits.

i dont mind changing the stuts to correct this,i saw some tokico blues for sale but i dont see how my maxspeed springs would fit on there..

comments welcomed..

Yea apparently he's enrolled in an automotive school... oh the false promises!

I don't see why the springs wouldn't fit on the tokico, technically the struts [both KYB and Tokico] should be the same design since they ARE both made for the Maxima,

I have KYB GR2 with Progress springs on a 1.5/1.3 inch drop with the same wheels you have and I dont have any rubbing... I'm willing to bet you did something wrong or the tire is too big for the rim/car but based on the pic you posted, the tires look about the right size height wise.

What size are your tires?

Those tires look pretty meaty but you're not slammed so I don't see why it's rubbing. Check the installation over and if everything is correct, get lower profile tires.

You think - or are they?
Should be extreamly easy to diagnos with your automotive school buddies.

FWIT - You shouldn't have any issues with those rims and tires.
