CEL

My car's check engine light is on and I pulled the codes this morning and I got P0110, P0136, P1400, and P1447 and i just tried to use pmohr's CEL decoder but the website says it has been suspended. Can anyone help me out or point me in the director of another A32 CEL decoder?

If you have the P codes, that is an SAE standard that applies to the entire spectrum of ODBII equipped vehicles.

This article lays out the basics.

With that being said, any code that starts with P1xxx is manufacturer specific, and is more than likely the same for every car that manufacturer makes. In other words, any Nissan decoder would be able to decypher your A32 codes.

Here is a site that has a list of generic and manufacturer specific codes.

http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/

Or you could look in the FSM.

P0110 - IAT(Intake Air Temperature) Sensor (located on air box)
P0136 - Rear O2 Sensor (located after Cat Converter)
P1400 - EGRC Solenoid Valve (green soleniod located near Knock Sensor)
P1447 - EVAP Control System Purge Flow Monitoring

Those are your codes. Download the FSM and start diagnosing and fixing them.

I had the P1447 and it turned out that my evaporative canister (located behind the driver's rear wheel) has bad, allowing charcoal to get sucked out and interfere with the Evaporator Purge Volume Control Valve and giving me the code. See service bulletin NTB00-085a about this. You can download service bulletins from here -

I messed around with that when my car was about 4 1/2 years old, could never get the light to stay off. Paid Nissan almost $400, but here it is 12 1/2 years old or 8 years later, and the light never came back. So I guess the $400 was worth it...
