So how would you describe the sound of a Y-pipe, b-pipe, and stillen muffler?

And I understand about the drone. What does it sound like to you? deep tone, more like a v8 ( I know it wont sound just like it) or more like a Honda with a muffler. I am really looking for a nice deep rumble. Will I get it?

The sound is NOTHING like what you hear on a Honda. The tone is much deeper. At idle & highway speed, you get a nice purr. At 1/2 throttle you get a nice, deep rumble. At wide-open-throttle, you get a deep roar that really commands attention. Who would have thought a Maxima could sound like THAT? From time-to-time I pull up next to riced-out Hondas on the freeway, down-shift, and nail it hard. It scares the crap out of 'em every time! Bye-Bye!

Well, I have the Stillen muffler alone, and I can barely hear it. It sounds like if it were louder it would sound great but I cant tell. Once I give the engine any gas, the intake takes over and drowns out the muffler....

Sounds good. Its just hard to really tell much in a wav file. I just cant remember what it sounded like when we were at Maxus.
