quick question about hi flow cats

i am about to replace my stock cat converter and thinking about getting a hi flow cat. but what do i do about the o2 sensor since there is no hole for it? can it be drilled to fit an o2 sensor or do i have to condemn it?

A shop can add an O2 bung, but why go with a HFC rather than a new stock replacement or a used OEM one?

BTW, IIRC if you have a HFC and a stock y-pipe, your CEL will turn on.

I believe Warpspeed Performance and Cattman offer highflow cats, if I'm incorrect I'm sure somebody will correct me. You can check for yourself , I'm sure about Warpspeed having them but not a 100% about Cattman.

Yea just delete the cat with a test pipe man then you won't have to worry about it. I have the same stench but mine smells all inside the car because of stupid precats that's why I have headers on the way

A lot of Warpspeed hater's here, they don't sound bad at all if you set them up w/right combination as with any exhaust setup. Get what yah like though.

Test Pipe = BUZZING...I had a cel for my cat..I took it off gutted it ,cleared the codes and No more cel... Its when a cat starts getting gummed up with carbon when it tosses a CEL.NO guts no clogs..It worked for years on my 5th gen untill i killed the car..Il be doing my 4th gen this week...and cattman headers and y-pipe are the best combo.Brains headers are not shortys like the ebay stuff they are a lil longer and sound much more tuned then others..

Jus get the direct flow magnaflow cat off ebay. Wdnt mess wit the universal fit. It wd still work but is gonna be more work to install.

Test pipe isnt worth the CEL issues. IMO

I got my Bosal replacement cat off eBay for a good price. It's an OE style that bolted up perfectly. There's a waranty on it as well and I believe it's stainless steel (flanges aren't).

Yeah Mann, that's what da Fucck I've been sayin'!! Warpspeed offer's an excellent cat for much less or just go factory Mann!! Cattman's shiit is good but just way over priced mann, get what you'll be happy w/though. If I was a billionaire I'd get the best for whatever the fuuckin' cost but since I'm not, I get the best for the best fuuckin' price.

That stench is because of the eliminated cat. Eliminating the precats in the OEM Y areant going to get rid of it.

People buy them all the time, an average good quality catback costs around 600-650 so its not that insanely priced considering.
The headers from cattman cosst more then their Y pipes. Its either one or the other.

Custom Catbacks run about 300-400, 2.5 SS with Muffler and custom tip. Thats what I went with.

My apologies, I thought you were running a test pipe and were soon to eliminate the Y pipe precats.

800 bucks is wayyyyy to much to pay for exhaust on a 13 yr old car. how long u plan on keepin it\???maybe another 3-5 yrs. Ebay or WS exhaust will last that long and its 100s cheaper.

ANd one more thing....FAIL ....I jus wanted to be down lol

600 for a greddy. I consider that to be top of the line. I dont think cattman that much better for extra 200. I mean, its ONLY an exhaust kit

I agree about a cheaper exhaust lasting long enough to make one happy, some just wish to have the best items out there and are willing to pay for it.
Greddy is a good exhaust system but I wouldnt put it on the same level as the Cattman. Many have had some fitment issues with the Greddy, as did I when I had one and I have yet to see someone say that about the Cattman.
I personally wouldnt pay that much for an exhaust system, it is just an exhaust system and the gains just arent there.
My 3" setup cost well below what an aftermarket name brand exhaust cost.

I wdnt go so far to say terrible and i wdnt say it wont fit right either. Every mod requires some modifcation.
