CMax03 10-03-2010 10:17 PM

You definitely won't have your exhaust too long with it like that......

TheArtist 10-03-2010 10:21 PM

his offset is +30

Similar to a modded 240SX, S15, whatever you wanna call them.

I said similar!

But seriously I've been obsessed with those cars for a long time I think when I'm out of college and in a job the first large amount of debt I'm gonna dive into is to get a 240 and get the fancy JDM body kit for like $10,000, then a new engine, and SUPER expensive wheels, and when she is all done. Go cry at the amount of money I spent on a car.

They will be tears of joy you'll be saying yes baby. Not o s**t what I get into. But Tham she looks good

So i finally got my HKS exhuast mounted properly... i know it been a LONG time.. but are some pic

My buddy did used my old exhuast, and fixed the angle...
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...s/DSC_0051.jpg
We had to use this lift ... Because i stayed with my exhuast running under my rear axel idea.. this way in the kept the suspension under load and we could be the exhast high and tight as possible...
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...DSC_0044-1.jpg
The exhuast was later adjusted, we got worried about the Stillen lip kit and rear bumper roasting...

QT1 5MT AE 08-04-2011 11:37 PM

nice progress so far. really like what you have done with this car, specially the paintjob. IMO paint the intercooler black, it takes away from the car.

Keem 08-04-2011 11:38 PM

Here is an exhuast video clip

Just curious, why did you use crush bent piping on those bends?

Ummmm......yeah. It's industry standard to use a 4post lift when doing exhaust work for the very reasons you described.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Lookin' forward to your dyno results. :)

wirelessdude04 08-06-2011 03:47 AM

sounds nasty bro

Yaaa i know... it will be change down the road... i just want to dnyo her....

phatboislim 08-06-2011 02:45 PM

sounds gorgeous...theres no way to angle that exhaust without running above the axle like its setup stock is it? i want to run a similar axleback

95Maxed 08-06-2011 04:54 PM

That looks so nice, man. Congrats on getting it fixed up right!

One thing though... how on earth do you change your rear right tire if the exhaust runs right under the axle? When you jack the car up does the suspension not decompress and hit the exhaust?

Shift_Nismo 08-06-2011 05:11 PM

Dddaaammmnnn that Max is sexy, good job! Can't wait to see some videos

LOL i can barely get a road side jack under my car, and its going lower.... and i have a full system in my trunk .... and or Spare anyways... i have a Huge CAA or (AAA in the states i think its called ) lol.. cause even if i got a flat in the front, it wouldnt clear the brakes....

Swazey 08-07-2011 11:25 AM

sounds mean, great job. looking forward to what you'll share next...

With coilovers, the suspension doesn't nearly decompress the same as OEM suspension. In fact, it pretty much stays in the same spot. That's how it is on my Maximas.

Ejay98max 08-13-2011 11:00 PM

Nice

lol, true dat! i dont know how many times ive three wheeled that thing trying to jack it up. its quite interesting getting it back down from 4 jack stands sometimes!

So, Keem, have you had the car out on the road yet? I wanted to see how the front bumper was holding up if youve gone triple digits yet... what exactly did you use to bond the materials together... because fiberglass wont seem to cut it!

Always been a fan of HKS and Greddy products.

Fauken 08-15-2011 09:41 PM

I aim to aspire to that level of modification with my max. Love the setup a lot more than

this thing shows. :jump:

Crusher103 08-15-2011 10:14 PM

pgmax518 08-16-2011 01:43 PM
