i have a early 95 nissan maxima se 5 speed and i just did a mevi swap...i didnt have any problems with the car before iswapped out the manifolds...i used all the same iacv sensors and the same throttle body...but im getting a backfire in the plenum...i am still using the same original lower intake plenum....the car also idles like its misfiring...the vaccum for butterfly on the manifold is not even hooked up...so any ideas???

 

sounds liek you have a bad vac leak. Did you replace all gaskets with new ones? The manifold with some brake cleaner, and see where the leak is.
