No fan on any setting

This appears to be a tempermental thing...the fan has come back on today but wouldn't come on at all yesterday morning.

From what I have found, there are 2 different possibilities depending if you are auto or manual climate control. It looks like the fan control relay that is for the manual climate control is cheap but the fan control amplifier for the auto climate control is really expensive (though I have yet to find it for purchase).

They are both located behind the glove box here:

Is this information right? If so, what other models of Nissans would have my part? All auto climates, right?

a lot of times the blower motor starts to go out and take the fan amp with it. chances are you may need both.

fix it yourself for .90$ instead of 160$ from the dealer for the part.

Temperamental blower

From experience, definitely the amplifier.
I was lucky, had a second Maxima for spares.
