Thinking of obx udp

Hi guys I'm thinking of getting this pulley:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-C...item2c56d99ad9

My questions are:
I already bypassed my a/c with this belt, 6PK903 from napa. Do I still need to get a shorter belt?
If so what are the two belts I need for this udp if anyone knows?

The only auto parts stores I have around here are car quest, o'reilly and napa.

I wouldn't go with a cheap OBX UDP. Stick to either Unorthodox Racing or Motostrom.

UDPs are virtually useless, and I sure wouldn't put an OBX one on my car. Too much potential for damage.

Please explain why you think its cheap?
I don't have that kind of money to go with the other udp's.
I do have a obx short shifter, I know its not the same, but I like the quality.

Plus I don't even know why the ur racing pulley is $200, all my friends pulleys were around $60 with their cars.

obx makes cheap parts, period. in some cases you can get away with cheap parts and not have any ill effects, but a bad UDP will destroy your engine.

UDPs provide virtually no gain anyways, and the potential to cause engine problems are real. too much risk for too little reward (i.e. barely any reward at all).

There was a recent thread on this matter that asand1 posted and should be in the stickys so that you know what you are getting yourself into. It just states a warning about UDP's and its effects...you should look it up and understand the risk that you are taking. Don't want you running back to the forums to post that you see metal shavings in your oil..

Alright what do you guys think about this ralcorz stock diameter pulley.
It says it only for the 2002-2003 maxima, but it also says that it is for the 3.0.

Will this work for the 4 gen?

I think light weight udp are a waste of time and money, you don't get any hp or tq gains from it. I would just save the money and buy something else that gives you hp and tq gains.

I know about the gains and what not. When I deleted the a/c that had a little gain and I could rip through the gears a lot quicker. I'm just trying to add on to that a little more. I've notice a difference in some of my friends cars. It seemed the rmps could raise and drop faster then normal.

You think?
They either do, or they don't, and you'll know as soon as you put your foot down.
Are you saying you've tried one, and felt no gain?
Or...some other scenario?

Unless the laws of rotation inertia have been repealed....

the gains that are being claimed on the udp are strictly from the lower weight of the unit.
moving into a smaller diameter pulley won't do squat for hp. it does turn the acc slower and whatnot.
